BEIRUT (Zawya Dow Jones)--The Egyptian government will present plans for investment projects worth 4 billion Egyptian pounds ($671.1 million) to a delegation of U.A.E. officials visiting Egypt next week, Kuwait-based An Nahar daily reports Thursday citing Egyptian finance minister Samir Radwan.
The delegation will discuss the EGP3 billion aid that the Gulf state plans to offer to the Egyptian economy, Radwan said according to the paper.
There is a good response from the Emirati side to increase the value of investments to EGP4 billion and there are many U.A.E. businessmen who desire to invest in Egypt once the presidential election is over and after the country's political situation stabilizes, he added.
Substantial investment inflows from Arab countries into various Egyptian sectors is expected this year, the daily cites Radwan as saying.
